Featuring the classic Schulhoff and Kodaly duos, along with a newly commissioned violin-cello work by Filipino-American composer Isaac Villaroya, Dream Sequence explores traditions and nuances of each composer’s roots, inviting listeners to the sound world of folk melodies, rhythms, and harmonies that transcend borders. This album was created in collaboration with violinist Masayoshi Arakawa.
